We’re currently seeking a motivated and hands-on Industrial Chargehand to join our team at Hinkley Point B. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced industrial environment — where no two days are the same.

You’ll Be Doing:

As an Industrial Chargehand, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Industrial Supervisor by leading and motivating a team of operatives across the site. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the day-to-day supervision of the industrial cleaning team
• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and in line with Health & Safety requirements
• Overseeing tasks such as pressure washing, pump and tank cleaning, and maintaining general site cleanliness
• Ordering and maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies
• Supporting team absence and holiday management in the Supervisor’s absence
• Promoting continuous improvement and high team morale

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong communication skills and confidence using Microsoft Office tools
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams at all levels
• Experience in industrial cleaning and good working knowledge of COSHH regulations
• Previous supervisory experience (preferred)
• A keen eye for detail and a proactive mindset for improving team performance
