Role Overview

The self-motivated Marketing & Communications Lead must support the work of our business development team and develop our marketing and communications services, supporting operational delivery of our growth plans and promotion of our services.

Your enthusiastic approach will assist our organisation in generating new business, supporting Marketing activity, increasing staff productivity, improving our service, ensuring sustainability and meeting business growth objectives.

The Marketing & Communications Lead will account for business growth activities, increase revenue and meet overall growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Work with the group communications function to deliver operational communications as well as leveraging partnership with the wider Group to highlight the company’s expertise and resources.
  • Develop case studies and other content showcasing successful projects and partnerships to build credibility and demonstrate the value of Dalkia Energy’s services.
  • Utilise multiple channels to communicate with different stakeholder groups to leverage case studies social media, press releases and success stories to showcase our proven track record of delivering high-performance energy solutions and services to a range of clients across multiple industries.
  • Engage with the broader community through CSR programmes in association with Group CSR function.
  • Management of the tender procurement portals and communication of information flows to the broader business development team as part of the tender response process
  • Develop thought leadership content on the company’s sustainability strategies, including blog posts, event leads, and social media content.
  • Develop a public relations campaign that highlights our successful project delivery, including case studies, press releases, and media outreach.
  • Develop a stakeholder engagement plan that includes regular meetings with existing and potential clients, government agencies, and industry partners to build strong relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Engaging with our people through regular communication, events and feedback channels to build employee brand.
  • Work within the incoming CRM to log all activity, tasks, calls and opportunities
  • Help to establish ‘go to market’ opportunities and presentations with the Business Development Team

Knowledge, Skills, Education & Experience

  • Evidence of successful marketing and communication management initiatives
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in marketing or a related field
  • Understanding and experience in social media channels and their use for B2B communication and marketing.
  • An interest in climate change, carbon reduction, renewable energy generation or energy efficiency.
  • Ability to coordinate projects and hit deadlines
  • An eye for detail – excellent grammar and proof-reading skills
  • Manages deadlines and can liaise effectively with key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Confident with Microsoft software, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Design skills with the ability to create engaging content for our social media channels and website using Canva software
  • Experience using a CRM – Salesforce would be advantageous
  • Creative thinker – the ability to read a brief and elaborate on it, working closely with the Field team and Studio
  • Copywriting skills
  • Understanding of adapting marketing asset to suit target audience and asset location
  • Project Management skills
