With passenger numbers expected to reach 28 million per year, station staff needed a smart Station Information and Security System (SISS) solution, integrating alarms, CCTV and public address.. Once on-site, we integrated our delivery approach into the main contractor’s programme and delivery controls, including working safely around overhead lines, safeguarding passengers and business continuity.

The SISS system is Veracity’s VIEWSCAPE platform, a modular approach with multiple security applications and systems integrating CCTV, Public Address and Voice Alarms (PAVA), fire alarms, train information, live maps, ticket barriers, BMS and all other electronic systems into a complete command and control system. The user-friendly integrating platform gives greater flexibility and mobility for staff as they can control systems through iPads across the station.
