Dalkia carried out the full mechanical, electrical and plumbing installation to this prestigious and unique Grade I listed, 84-bedroom, 5-star hotel, including natural thermal baths.
In July 2023, the Imtech group company rebranded to Dalkia.

Approach
Dalkia collaborated closely with the client, contractor, stakeholders and all on-site operatives, this ensured full understanding of the requirements, expectations and potential issues that may occur and enabled smooth planning and delivery of the programme.
Geological considerations when planning the drainage were vital to ensure the integrity of the famous Buxton Water, as it is pumped from below the hotel to the nearby bottling plant. The team identified an environmentally and commercially viable solution, ensuring no disruption to the natural flow of the water.
Result
The luxurious Buxton Crescent Hotel and Spa opened in Autumn 2020 to much acclaim both locally and nationally. The project was successfully delivered by our skilled team, working closely with all stakeholders and utilising their previous knowledge and experience of listed buildings and the idiosyncrasies they have.
