Colt awarded the contract to Dalkia to provide round-the-clock critical maintenance support on their Hyper-Scale Data Centre in Hertfordshire and several sites in London and the UK. We provide a dedicated contract team that incorporates managers, supervisors, shift leads, engineers and administrators with a total headcount of 38.
The scope of maintenance includes notably all power and cooling provision and backup systems to ensure tight environmental controls are adhered to.
The main contract has been running for many years and has grown from overseeing 10 to 12 data halls at their largest facility at Welwyn Garden City to 26, currently with plans to grow to 31 in total. The site houses 65 generators alone.
