For years, visitors to the Tower of London have made a wish whilst throwing coins into the fresh-water moat at the Tower of London. Once a year, the moat is drained for essential maintenance of the gates and selected volunteers have the opportunity to collect the coins and donate them to the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal for the welfare of military veterans and their families.

Former CIBSE President and currently Director of Engineering and Energy for Dalkia, George Adams, has been awarded a CIBSE Gold Award for his valuable contribution and services to the industry and the institution, CIBSE, best known as a leading source of expertise and knowledge sharing across the built environment.

Dalkia has been appointed by Thales Alenia Space in the UK to carry out the design and installation of a new cleanroom that will be used as an optical laboratory. The new cleanroom will be used for critical manufacturing activities. The team will provide mechanical &amp; electrical services and architectural finishes to ensure that the completed room meets the requirements of ISO Class 5 certification.
