Dalkia UK is proud to announce its contract win with Atkins Global, a six-month rolling commitment to fortify the safety and efficiency of Heathrow’s Main Road Tunnel. This builds on our legacy of successful projects at the airport including the successful delivery of the T3IB baggage facility at Terminal 3, where Dalkia UK led the design and build phase for the £16m MEPH project.
Under the new contract, Dalkia UK will be responsible for delivering the management of preventative maintenance, aiding Atkins Global in the finalisation of electrical installations, certifications, and assigning a Heathrow ESR3 authorised person for the isolation of redundant services in the main tunnel. Showcasing its expertise, Dalkia will undertake the completion and verification of all existing and new electrical services, in line with NICEIC certification standards.
