Dalkia strengthens its Net Zero offering with Connect

As part of our ongoing quest to support the UK’s Net Zero ambitions, Dalkia has further enhanced its ability to remotely optimise and adjust building systems with the ‘acquisition’ of a new Connect Energy Team and digital platform.

In July 2023, the Imtech group company rebranded to Dalkia.

This move, which completed on the 1st August, followed a Group wide strategic review which set out to accelerate Dalkia’s efforts to expand its capability in this key area.

Connect is a team of energy experts who provide remote Energy Monitoring and Optimisation Services, offering clients a smarter way to manage their portfolios. Connect utilises digital software and technical knowhow, ensuring reduced energy consumption and a sustainable approach to remedial activities.

Connect has been successfully delivering energy and carbon reduction services through remote control and optimisation for Dalkia’s clients, so the transition of the team to Dalkia makes perfect sense. I look forward to seeing the ongoing development of the Connect solution will continue to work with the team on existing and future projects.

Jonathan Kershaw, Managing Director, Dalkia

Several Corporate and Public sector clients continue to benefit from Connect’s energy efficient remote monitoring solutions, and given the current energy cost challenges the uptake for this offering is expected to increase substantially.

Noel Clancy, Managing Director Dalkia, commented: “We are delighted to welcome the Connect team into Dalkia. Their capability and technical platform are a great addition to our portfolio of services and compliments our other digital asset platforms. At a time when reducing carbon and energy spend is at the top of everyone’s to do list, we fully expect the take up of this offering to be significant particularly for clients with multi-site portfolios.
