Approach

We understand the complexities of working in live school environments, our team are collaborative, flexible and focused on minimising disruption. Our service model allows us to adapt to the dynamic needs of the school environment, ensuring technical and operational continuity.

Lifecycle forecasting is a cornerstone of our service, helping plan budgets years in advance. To date, £40 million in lifecycle works have been delivered. Additionally, £150,000 in energy gain-share scheme rebates were returned to the local authority, reinforcing Dalkia’s role as a trusted partner.

Through the implementation of the Optimum energy platform, building fabric surveys, and behavioural change initiatives, Dalkia delivered impressive sustainability outcomes for the client. Electricity consumption was reduced by 26%, gas by 25%, and water by 54%, contributing to a 58% reduction in total carbon emissions – equivalent to 7,062.66 tCO

Result

Our integrated FM approach has resulted in safer, more efficient school environments. We continue to successfully deliver this multi-site contract, improving learning environments for over 27,000 students, while driving cost savings and enhancing sustainability performance.
