Dalkia is seeking a proactive and safety-focused Assistant Fire Safety Coordinator to join our team at Torness Power Station on a permanent, full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining high standards of fire safety on a critical operational site, while developing your career within a supportive and professional environment.
In this role, you will support the delivery and ongoing management of the station’s fire risk assessment programme, helping to ensure compliance and continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and support best practice in fire safety across the station
- Maintain and update the station’s fire risk assessment programme in line with requirements
- Support compliance of fire-related systems, equipment, and controls
- Assist with fire safety audits, inspections, and assurance activities
- Deliver and support fire safety training across the site
What We’re Looking For
- A highly organised individual with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience conducting, or supporting, fire risk assessments
- Previous fire safety experience is desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders
