Catering Manager

At Dalkia UK, we have a great opportunity for you to join our team as a Catering Manager based at Irlam and Cadishead school. This is a permanent position with a 30 hour per week contract. You will oversee the planning, organisation, and execution of catering services for our client as well as being responsible for managing a team to ensure high-quality food production and service delivery.

Daily duties

• Co-ordinate and plan catering operations on site
• Set up and take down dining furniture
• Supervise kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking, assisting as and when required
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
• Manage team members, providing guidance and support
• Oversee all aspects of food preparation and service
• Responsible for the security of the till and unit money
• Carry out regular audits
• Be highly visible and first point of contact for the school
• Maintain stock, supplies and equipment
• Monitor catering budgets and expenses, attending review meetings with regional manager, school and relevant authorities

• 08:30-14:30
• Term time only
