Finance Director
Dalkia UK are seeking an experienced Finance Director to join our Facilities business. Operating within a Group structure, the role combines strong financial control and governance with hands-on commercial and operational leadership, supporting growth, contract delivery, retention, and margin improvement.
The role includes leading forecasting, budgeting and financial planning, and acting as the primary interface with Group Finance, ensuring strong financial control, governance, and alignment with Group requirements.
The Finance Director will partner closely with operations to manage contract performance and risk, while supporting sector-led growth, including developing sectors such as airports, and contributing to work winning and contract negotiations.
The role is accountable for overseeing mobilisation and full contract lifecycle performance, driving contract retention and operational efficiency, and translating financial and operational data into clear, actionable insight to support decision-making across the business.
The Finance Director will also lead and develop a high-performing finance function, embedding strong business partnering and continuous improvement across the business.

Qualifications and Experience
- Finance Director or senior finance leader in a £100m+ contract-based or service-led business
- Experience in multi-site, operationally complex environments with labour-intensive cost bases
- Strong track record in forecasting, financial performance, cash, and margin improvement
- Experience supporting work winning, mobilisation, and contract lifecycle management
- Commercially strong, hands-on, and able to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in a performance-driven, Group or PE-backed environment
