Project QSHE Advisor – Dalkia Scotland

Location: Dalry, Scotland

Employment: Contract – full-time

About the Role

Dalkia Scotland is seeking an experienced Project QSHE Advisor to support our projects and uphold the highest standards in Quality, Safety, Health & Environment (QSHE). You will champion a positive QSHE culture, providing guidance, advice, and solutions to ensure safe, compliant, and high-performing project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise project management on QSHE best practices, hazard identification, and risk mitigation.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of QSHE procedures, including risk assessments and PTWs.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, recommending preventive measures.
  • Monitor, report, and improve operational QSHE performance.
  • Identify and deliver QSHE training, inductions, and toolbox talks.
  • Maintain up-to-date QSHE systems and ensure compliance with legislation.
  • Flexibility to cover project shift patterns, including weekends.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

  • Experienced QSHE professional with CSCS card.
  • NEBOSH National Certificate or equivalent.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Health & Safety and HSEQ management systems.
  • Understanding of UK HSEQ legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Desirable:

  • IOSH/CMIOSH qualifications.
  • Experience in training design and delivery.
  • Quality and Environment management experience.
