Technical Supervisor

Dalkia have an opportunity for a Technical Supervisor to join their growing facilities management team, working across the facilities at Sizewell C.

General Overview

As a Technical Supervisor at Dalkia, you will be responsible for the supervision and overseeing the maintenance of various disciplines which could include but are not limited to HV, LV, Gas, F Gas and/or pressure systems as appropriate for the role within our clients’ facilities.
Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations and Dalkia Safety Rules while contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of our operations. You will provide technical guidance, liaise professionally with various stakeholders and clients. Ensure a positive Health and Safety environment and safe systems of work are maintained across all contracts via site visits and auditing. Reviewing Dalkia Safety Rules, and Procedures, site SOPs, EOPs and assisting in creating site Scenario Training exercises.

 

Experience

  • Previous supervision on technical facilities maintenance.
  • Assist with client audits against KPI’s / SLA’s including statutory compliance.
  • Develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with site teams and the client.
  • Drive and embed an outstanding compliance and health and safety culture.
  • Provide an innovative approach to efficiency measures / improvements.

Knowledge

Key Accountabilities

  • Role model the Health & Safety Codes of Safe Working and other Environmental issues to ensure total compliance with Dalkia’s Health, Safety and Environmental Policies
  • Champion Safe Systems of Work practices and challenge any unsafe behaviours.
  • Ensure mandatory training and certification is in place.
  • Performance management including recognising good performance, addressing capability gaps and dealing with training needs issues in a timely manner

Taking Responsibility

  • Understand, anticipate and deliver customer requirements.
  • Make recommendations on matters concerning continuous improvement and “adding value” that may improve the productivity, costs, quality of service delivery etc.
  • Work collaboratively as a team to deliver accurate and compliant Safety Rules and Procedures to provide an ever-improving service to Dalkia.

  • Provide training support to ensure the site teams are experienced and confident in the technical elements of their roles.
