SPIE Wins Mechanical & Electrical Contract for Pharmaceutical Laboratory

During the 33-week project, Dalkia will be responsible for completing mechanical and electrical works to the second-floor laboratories in one of the buildings on Evotec’s Dorothy Crowfoot Hodgkin Campus, located in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. This contract follows a successful Laboratory construction project completion earlier this year.

Following the strong results we saw from the construction phase, we’re excited to continue our coordinated approach to continue to deliver great value whilst ensuring a high-quality standard of work.

Working in a now active building with research scientists conducting experiments in the Laboratories, the new project will require detailed planning of works to minimise disruption to services. This will involve integrating the existing services with the new infrastructure and carrying out the lifting operation to the roof of the new Air Source Heat Pump.

Dean Blackburn, Project Manager at Dalkia, said “We’re incredibly pleased to be chosen by Evotec to deliver mechanical and electrical works to upgrade the laboratory. Following the strong results we saw from the construction phase, we’re excited to continue our coordinated approach to continue to deliver great value whilst ensuring a high-quality standard of work.
