About the role

At the beginning of this year, Dalkia Engineering strengthened its in‑house recruitment capability with the introduction of a dedicated Talent Acquisition Business Partner. This investment has already delivered strong results, including a reduction in reliance on recruitment agencies and a more consistent, high‑quality recruitment experience across the business.

Building on this momentum, we are now looking to further grow our Talent Acquisition team with the addition of a Talent Acquisition Advisor. This role will support the continued development of our direct hiring model and play a key part in how we attract, engage, and hire talent across Dalkia Engineering.

We are flexible on location and happy to consider candidates based anywhere from London up to the Leeds / Bolton area. While the role is hybrid, travel to the business will be required to our offices & sites from the Northwest down to London.

Operating within a matrix organisation, and in an industry that experiences regular peaks and troughs in recruitment demand, this is a varied and fast‑paced role suited to a recruiter who enjoys balancing high‑volume and specialist hiring while building strong stakeholder relationships.

  • working closely with hiring managers to understand requirements and provide recruitment advice
  • Proactively sourcing candidates directly using LinkedIn, job boards, and talent pipelines
  • Coordinating interviews and supporting fair, effective assessment and selection processes
  • Delivering a consistent and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey
  • Supporting the continued reduction of recruitment agency reliance through strong direct hiring solutions
  • Maintaining accurate recruitment data using applicant tracking systems and reporting tools
  • Contributing ideas to improve recruitment processes and ways of working

  • Strong relationship‑builder with stakeholders and candidates
  • Well organised with a high level of attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • Able to prioritise and adapt to changing recruitment demands
  • Enthusiastic about learning, development, and continuous improvement
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating within a wider HR team

Desirable

Why join Dalkia Engineering?

  • Join a growing in‑house TA function with clear direction and purpose
  • Opportunity to influence and shape recruitment best practice
  • Exposure to a wide range of roles across a complex engineering environment
  • Supportive and collaborative HR team with scope for development
