Initially focusing on the both North Manchester General Hospital and The Royal Oldham Hospital, Dalkia will be supporting the Trust in delivering sustainable improvements across its estate, which will be part-funded by Salix Finance. The enabling works for the project are now underway and the project is due for completion in May 2020.
This type of project is where we excel and can make a significant contribution to the performance of NHS buildings, delivering significant savings, driving efficiency and improving comfort levels. We have an established relationship with the Trust and will be working in partnership with them to optimise results.
Gary Parke, Founder, Dalkia
The Dalkia project team will review inefficient, deteriorated but intrinsic systems and upgrade the mechanical engineering across the hospitals to deliver energy savings, increase efficiency as well as promote health and comfort for staff and patients.
Using a phased approach across both hospitals simultaneously, which will remain in full operation, the team will significantly reduce elements of the backlog programme which is fundamental to the improvement of the hospitals.
