Are you a practical, solution-driven engineer with a passion for keeping things running smoothly? Dalkia is recruiting a Facilities Engineer to join our site-based team at Torness Power Station, one of the UK’s key energy facilities. You’ll play a hands-on role in supporting vital infrastructure that helps keep the station operational, safe, and compliant.

This is more than just maintenance — it’s a chance to contribute directly to a nationally important site and work as part of a skilled, multidisciplinary team in a demanding but rewarding environment.

Your Role

As a Facilities Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of day-to-day operations, supporting a range of disciplines and ensuring the facility operates reliably and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out and assist with planned preventative maintenance (PPM), repairs, and reactive tasks
• Support various trades on-site, including Heating Engineers, Plumbers, and Electricians
• Ensure all works are completed safely, in line with site procedures and Health & Safety regulations
• Take a proactive role in identifying and resolving potential issues before they escalate

Essential Skills & Attributes

• Practical maintenance experience, ideally in an industrial or facilities setting
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety standards and safe systems of work

• High standards, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality
