We’re looking for a skilled, safety-focused Fire Team Operative to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. Based at Sizewell B, this role is a great opportunity to contribute to the safety and performance of a key operational site.

As a Fire Team Operative, you’ll be responsible for fire system testing across the station, as well as carrying out essential mechanical maintenance and repairs on associated equipment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Performing mechanical maintenance on equipment such as flanges, gaskets, skids, and pipework systems

• Carrying out planned maintenance across the site’s fire systems

• Testing and repairing fire detection and loss control systems

• Conducting fire alarm and smoke head testing

• Inspecting and maintaining firefighting equipment and associated systems

What We’re Looking For

• Mechanical knowledge or fire systems experience (we’ll provide training on the other)

• Strong commitment to health and safety practices

• Basic IT and computer literacy skills

• Experience in an industrial environment is beneficial
